Youngsters Enjoy Summer Day Camp “Harmony in the Streets”

“Harmony in the Streets” is a week-long day camp program
at locations within the community chosen specifically for
their proximity to low income neighborhoods. Camp counselors
partner with deputies in local law enforcement to
guide and nurture children through fun activities geared to
teaching self-respect, respect for others, anti-bullying and

K-9 unit, the mounted posse, the 911 call center, among
other Sheriff ’s Office programs.
For generations, for poor and at-risk children, the Florida
Sheriffs Youth Ranches summer day camp has been a time
for escape to another world. More so than any other group,
summer camp leaves a lasting impression on children from
lower income neighborhoods. The introduction of law enforcement
as a friend and trusted ally, the guidance showing
them that doing the right thing can be both cool and fun –
all of the positive influence throughout the week provides a
moral uplift for the ones that need it most.
Thanks to Sheriff Ric Bradshaw and the Palm Beach Sheriff ’s
Office, law enforcement trust funds funded 14 week-long

About the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches
The mission of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is to prevent
delinquency and develop strong, lawful, resilient and
productive citizens who will make a positive contribution to
our communities for years to come. The Florida Sheriffs Youth
Ranches has served over 122,000 children and their families
since 1957. This year the Youth Ranches will serve over 5,000
needy boys and girls across the 67 counties in the state.
This charitable, non-profit childcare agency was founded by
the Florida Sheriffs Association and operates four residential
campuses and two camping facilities. Additionally, it provides
community-based services and family counseling to as
many of Florida’s neglected, troubled children as funds will
permit. The organization is funded primarily through charitable
donations from its generous donors.
The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc. is nationally accredited
by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw Gets Re-elected With an Overwhelming Respose

  Sheriff Ric Bradshaw won the Elections by an overwhelming response from the community.
The votes are in and the response is overwhelming. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has won the primary elections by a landslide of over 79% making him the re-elected Sheriff of Palm Beach County. He will serve as Sheriff of the Palm Beach County Sheriffs office for another four year term. Sheriff Bradshaw has been serving as Sheriff since first elected in 2005. This response of the community proves that the citizens of Palm Beach County are happy with how the Sheriff is running and managing the law enforcement efforts of Palm Beach County. Sheriff Ric Breadshaw was quoted stating "Now I can continue to focus on my job. I consider this just a distraction and now that it's over can focus on more important matters".
